The Acquedotto Pugliese Group consists of the parent company Acquedotto Pugliese SpA and the subsidiary ASECO S.p.A., a leading company in composting. A public capital entity with over 2,000 employees, entirely controlled by Regione Puglia.
The Role of the Regione Puglia
The Regione Puglia sets strategic guidelines for the activities of the company, appoints the corporate leaders, and approves AQP's Industrial Plan.
Additionally, it manages European, national, and regional fundings in order to constantly improve the provision of integrated water services for the benefit of citizens' quality of life, economic development of the territory, and environmental protection.

Acquedotto Pugliese and Regione Puglia work together in order to achieve common goals:

- to ensure the protection of water resources;
- to support the economic development of the territory.
The Regione Puglia promotes Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), which is the management of social and ethical issues that might have an impact within companies. For this reason, since 2014, we have been committed to preparing the company's Sustainability Report. The goal is to communicate the direct and indirect effects of our activities on the territory and to share our contribution to achieving the strategic objectives of the Regione Puglia.
