Certifications

The Acquedotto Pugliese Group has developed a Management System with reference to international standards on quality (ISO 9001 and ISO 17025), environment (ISO 14001) and safety (OHSAS 18001).

Currently, the Group has the following certifications issued by an accredited Certification Body:

ISO 9001:2015 on the processes: Integrated Water Service Management including infrastructure design and construction activities. (AQP SpA) on the production processes of quality aerobic compost (mixed compost soil improver) through the phases of mixing, oxidation, maturation, turning and screening. Collection, transport on behalf of third parties, recovery and treatment of civil sludge, agri-food, and vegetable wood (Aseco Composting Plant).

In addition, about ISO 9001, the scope of AQP has been extended to the verification of projects in accordance with Presidential Decree 207/2010.

ISO 14001:2015 on the Integrated Water Service Management processes for the water service sites of:

• Sites: Bari via Cognetti and viale Orlando;
• Potabilization: Impianti del Locone, Fortore, Pertusillo, Sinni and Conza;
• Captation, adduction: Sorgente di Cassano Irpino, Sorgente di Caposele
• Purification: Acquaviva delle Fonti, Carpino, Castellana Grotte, Gallipoli, Foggia, Maglie, Noci, San Nicandro Garganico, Trinitapoli, Spinazzola, Vieste.

On the processes: production of quality compost (Mixed Composting Soil Conditioner) with aerobic stabilization through mixing, oxidation, maturation, turning and screening. Collection, transport for third parties, recovery and treatment of civil sludge, agri-foodstuffs, and vegetable wood (Aseco Composting Plant).

OHSAS 18001:2007 on the processes of: Integrated Water Service Management including infrastructure design and construction activities. (AQP SpA) On the processes: Production of quality compost (Mixed Composting Soil Conditioner) with aerobic stabilization through mixing, oxidation, maturation, turning and screening. Collection, transport on behalf of third parties, recovery and treatment of civil sludge, agri-foodstuffs, and vegetable wood (Aseco Composting Plant).

In addition, the AQP Multisite laboratory (with offices in Bari, Foggia, Lecce, Taranto) has the certificate of conformity to UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018, issued by the Italian Accreditation Body ACCREDIA (*).
