Acquedotto Pugliese has expanded the water cycle chain with the production of fertilizers for agriculture, through Aseco, a leading company in the sector.
Aseco S.p.A. manages the Ginosa Marina composting plant in Taranto province.
The production activity of the plant is mainly aimed at the recovery of FORSU (Organic Fraction Urban Solid Waste) and, to a lesser extent, of agro-food waste, market waste and wood-cellulosic waste. The company favours the conferment of these elements by the Municipal Administrations of the Apulia Region.
In synergy with the Acquedotto Pugliese Group, in a shared Total Quality perspective, Aseco has reached excellent results in the production of eco-compatible and natural fertilizers.
